Over the past few weeks, we explored real conversations inside distribution teams.

Pricing decisions that never moved.
Inventory issues that lingered.
Sales teams that stayed busy—but didn’t grow.

The data was there. But action didn’t follow.

 Analytics to Action 1

Most organizations believe:
Data → Insights → Decisions → Results

But that’s not how decisions actually happen.

Insights break down due to complexity, lack of ownership, disconnected workflows, and reactive cultures.

But the deeper issue is behavioral.

Analytics to Action 2

Cognitive biases show up in everyday decisions:

Confirmation bias, overconfidence, sunk cost, information bias, action bias, and outcome bias.

These are not exceptions. They are default human patterns.

As AI accelerates analytics, insights become easier to generate.

But decision behavior does not automatically change.

AI amplifies what already exists.

The companies that win won’t just improve analytics.

They will design better decision systems.

The analytics-to-action gap is not a data problem.
It’s a decision design problem.
