Pradip is passionate about using a combination approach (data-driven and training) to help companies drive profitable growth. He is recognized throughout the wholesale-distribution industry as a thought leader, with 15 plus years of experience assisting hundreds of companies directly while co-authoring 6 inspiring books that are consistently among the NAW Institute for Distribution Excellence’s Top 10 Best Sellers. His customer stratification method (listed in Information Week as one of ‘20 Great Ideas to Steal In 2014’), and pricing optimization technique (listed in MDM 2008 as a ‘Highly effective way to approach distributor pricing’) are widely adopted throughout the distribution industry.
Prior to joining ActVantage, Pradip co-founded the nation’s premier wholesale distribution-focused research lab at Texas A&M University’s Industrial Distribution Program where he also served on the teaching faculty. He has worked with over 350 companies and helped them achieve a typical range of 150-700 points margin improvement, 25% ROI increase, 10-30% inventory reduction, and 20% operating cost decrease. He is a professional speaker and over the last 10 years, he has led education workshops for over 4,000+ distribution professionals (from the C-suite to field level operations and sales). He was a speaker and facilitator for IT Consulting Latin America (San Salvador), which included such topics as business analytics, lean principles, value chain segmentation, and supply chain profitability.
I love working with my fellow co-founders who are focused simultaneously on achieving both company and customer goals.
Pradip lives in Austin with his wife and daughter. He loves traveling, running, music, and of course, applying analytics whenever he can to win his fantasy football league (will get there eventually).
